"Siren, a mythological creature from Greek mythology. I gave her an updated, contemporary feel, deliberately using a model who provided me with a heavily filtered photograph. Her scales are subtle and created with shades of different cool violet and warm orange hues. There’s a sense of danger, mystery and an unearthly quality to the young woman representing the allure of the fabled Siren. She holds an orange starfish as decoration or companion, or possibly both."- Ann Elizabeth Scott
