Kerstin Mcee Art

Kirsten McKee is a world-renowned potter who has been creating unique pottery for over 25 years. Her work has been featured in museums and galleries around the world.

Kerstin was born in a country village outside the town Varberg on the west coast of Sweden. Kerstin's passion for art was nourished in childhood by parents who encouraged her creativity. She remembers often drawing and doodling, fascinated by the illustrations in certain children's books. These inspiring books held both folklore imagery and otherworldly fantasies, often encompassing both the light and dark.
1990 marked the start of a five-year art degree at Cornish College of The Arts in Seattle, with a focus on painting and printmaking. By early 2000, printmaking had given way to a new-found passion for working with clay.

Kerstin's equal interest in meditation and energy medicine also demanded its own journey. A journey of learning about healing modalities from different cultures. A combination of these methods and principles are parts of Kirsten's current healing practice.

Today she and her husband live a life of dual residence between Sammamish USA and her home town Varberg and she often talks of the resulting double influx of ideas and impulses as nature and the people of two west coasts inspire her work.

Velcome to my world!

"People make art for different reasons and for me being creative means having a meditative and spiritual practice while expressing my passion for art and energy medicine.
Through my work, I invite you into an inner world of hope, abundance and magic.
A world of healing and nurturing energies where Anything is possible!
I like to use words and symbols as they hold/vibrate specific frequencies. It is also a fun way to direct the energy flow through a piece
My hope is that this work will inspire you to feel supported and encouraged to trust your own intuition and to follow Your Dream." -Kirsten
