She also led regional and international painting tours alongside fellow artist Lee Bopman from 1995 to 2002, helping countless artists develop their creative voices through travel and observation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRooted in Washington State and inspired by the beauty of the Puget Sound, Cowan maintains a studio in Day Island WA, in addition to Portland, Oregon.
