"Aquatic Adventures, a playful work featuring three very different sea creatures, from different parts of the ocean. The tension between the penguin looking down at the piranha about to devour the seahorse is palpable. The mystery is how a South American predator got in the supposedly safe penguin habitat. I originally shot the penguin photograph at the Ohio zoo and came up with a scenario for why he was hesitant to plunge into the water."-Ann Elizabeth Scott
