After being diagnosed with wet macular degeneration, I felt an overwhelming urgency to devote myself fully to painting. The diagnosis intensified my awareness of impermanence, beauty, and time. Through layered color, movement, and texture, I seek to create paintings that are more about feeling than replication. Forms arise as if remembered rather than constructed: animals, trees, and spirit become one.
